New Mexico Dancewear Inc., has been serving the dance community, at the same location in Albuquerque, for over 35 years. The present owners, David and Loube McIver have owned the store since 2006.

Along with every imaginable form of dance we provide specialized clothing and shoes for cheer leading, show choir and liturgical groups throughout the state. In the last few years we have developed a ‘traveling dancewear store’ to bring our shoe fitting expertise and wide range of dancewear to outlying dancers and studios. We have made trips to Clovis, Roswell, Los Alamos, Taos and have even traveled as far as Lubbock, TX and Durango, CO to meet the needs of vibrant dance communities. So, in truth, we are becoming much more than just ‘New Mexico’ Dancewear as we reach beyond the state.

Einstein said, "Dancers are God’s athletes" and we want to do our best to insure that God’s athletes have the right tools to display their joy.

We have owned New Mexico Dancewear, a New Mexico Corporation, since January 2006. Having been married since 1967 we have worked out what it means to be a team and bring that learning to a store that has been here for over 35 years. We are very proud of the changes we have made to the look of the store and the product lines we carry.
